Despite being “only” 27 inches, it may not be one of those enormous ultrawide displays available on the market, but it’s still a great choice for gamers who need fast frame rates. On a bright OLED display, this LG UltraGear produces a resolution of 2560 x 1440 with a lightning-fast refresh rate of 480 Hz and a reaction time of 0.03 ms. Everything is excellent, but that refresh rate is the chef’s kiss.
Although this is not the first 480Hz OLED display, our research indicates that it has “class-leading” motion clarity, which will satisfy most competitive gamers. With AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync for less screen tearing, all those action-packed scenes will run more smoothly than before.
Additionally, there are no concerns regarding connectivity. It has a DisplayPort 2.1, two HDMI 2.1 connections, two USB-A connectors, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Although a USB-C would have been ideal, it is what it is.
The ultra-fast OLED monitors are particularly expensive. But now is the moment to purchase one if you’ve been wanting one.
