Macs typically do not take advantage of the steep discounts offered during the holiday shopping season. Not this year! The M2 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM was on sale for $799 on Cyber Monday, a rare $200 reduction from its MSRP and $400 less than it was just a month ago. For this laptop, this is by far the greatest deal we have encountered.
The nice thing about this reduction is that it only makes the 16GB variant of the laptop $50 more expensive than the device with half as much RAM. Since Apple costs $200 for the upgrade, it is an obvious choice. Other than the 256GB storage capacity, both devices are the same.
The M2 MacBook Air was adored by us. The laptop’s “excellent performance in its class,” its incredible battery life, and its enhanced display were all praised in our sister site Macworld’s review, which ended with a 4.5-star rating and our Editors’ Choice award. Additionally, compared to the 8GB variant, it is an even better Apple Intelligence machine. In late October, Apple released macOS Sequoia 15.1, which included AI tools to let users create content, edit photos, experiment with Siri, and much more.
So, take advantage of this fantastic Cyber Monday offer and grab the M2 MacBook Air for $799 while it is still available.
