The six-core Ryzen 3 chip, the Ryzen 5 5500X3D, has recently appeared on AMD’s marketing website. At least at debut, the listing states that it is only available in “LATAM” (Latin America). It should have significantly more power than the other Ryzen 5 5500 line members (the 5500 and 5500 GT are both limited to 65 watts), thanks to its 7-nanometer design, 3.0GHz base clock, 4.0GHz boost clock, and 105 watts of TDP. Although it clocked a little quicker, it will be a step down from the 5600X3D, which was released in 2023 and had six cores and 105 watts.
