Granted, that’s still hitting at about average pricing for a 27-inch OLED monitor with a 2560×1440 resolution at the moment. But it’s the speed that’s particularly notable. At 480Hz with a .03ms response time, the Sony Inzone M10S is approximately twice as fast as comparable monitors. It’ll pump out frames so quickly that even a beefy gaming PC will struggle to keep up with it in just about any recent 3D game.
Of course, that’s still about average for a 27-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 at this time. But what stands out most is the speed. The Sony Inzone M10S is about twice as quick as similar monitors, operating at 480Hz with a response time of.03ms. In almost any contemporary 3D game, it will produce frames so fast that even a powerful gaming PC will find it difficult to keep up.
Dylan Miles reviewed the monitor for bestcomputerfinder, praising its speed and image quality but criticizing its exorbitant cost and absence of USB-C connectors, which makes it a poor choice for gaming laptops. With a reduced cost, at least one of the problems is resolved. Even LG’s comparable 27-inch, 480Hz OLED, which seems to use the identical screen panel, is currently $140 more expensive on Amazon for comparison’s sake.
Although the Sony design has a remarkably compact and inconspicuous base, I would utilize the savings to get a quality VESA monitor arm. Check out PCWorld’s selection of the top gaming monitors if you’re feeling like something different.
