AOC is now introducing a new gaming monitor with a high 4K resolution and a QD-OLED display. The display, which is currently marketed for slightly under €1,000 in Europe, offers vibrant colors and strong contrast ratios.
The Agon Pro AG276UZD is being introduced by AOC in Germany and other international markets. With an official MSRP of €999 in various European nations, the firm has now stated that the fast QD-OLED gaming display should be more widely accessible in June. Previously, the company had launched the monitor and disclosed pricing for some territories. The AG276UZD’s intelligent features should make it a good option for productivity, so it’s probably not just for video games.
For example, the gaming monitor has a USB hub and USB Type-C port for connecting devices that can simultaneously charge and output a video stream. Additionally, a built-in KVM switch enables smooth source switching while maintaining USB accessory connectivity. There are also more conventional connectivity choices like DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1.
With a color deviation of DeltaE < 1, the QD-OLED panel is said to cover 99.3% of the DCI-P3 color space and the whole sRGB. Given that the monitor is only 26.5 inches in size, the AOC Agon Pro AG276UZD also boasts a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, which leads to a high PPI number. Additionally, the manufacturer specifies a peak brightness of 1,00 nits at 3% APL, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03 ms. Last but not least, the ergonomic stand has RGB lights and can be adjusted in height to fit most workstations.
