In the upcoming weeks, ChatGPT creator OpenAI intends to release its web browser, according to information given to Reuters. ChatGPT will be integrated into the new browser, enabling users to communicate with the AI chatbot immediately without going to the official website.
Additionally, OpenAI is thinking of including its so-called Operator Agents, AI-powered helpers that can do a variety of chores on your behalf, such as making reservations or completing forms.
Google’s Chromium codebase, which powers Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and other browsers, will serve as the foundation for the next browser. Whether it will need a paid subscription, similar to Perplexity’s recently released AI web browser Comet, is still unknown.
