Ever since I saw the Zenbook A14 at an Asus press event, I’ve wanted it. When it was on sale for $650, I finally bought it, and I’ve been enjoying using it as a writing device that doesn’t require recharging for days. It’s on sale for $600 at Amazon today, so you can get an even better price.
Asus’ version of the MacBook Air, the Zenbook A14, weighs less than one kilogram (2.16 pounds) thanks to a feather-light “Ceraluminum” alloy with a gorgeous stone-like texture. Even though it is only.63 inches thick and incredibly light, its Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processor and 709 watt-hour battery provide amazing life. I’ve only been streaming videos for about twenty-four hours. Additionally, the 14-inch OLED screen looks amazing with that video.
With its Arm-based processor and 16GB of RAM, this device won’t be able to compete with larger laptops in terms of sheer power, and it won’t be able to run anything other than 2D games. Some may object to this laptop’s absence of a touchscreen, and the 512GB of storage is adequate but not particularly noteworthy. But I’m rather happy with my buy for simple jobs and amazing portability. It stands out from the pack thanks to its striking sandstone hue, which I adore. Check out Chris Hoffman’s complete review for additional information, but bear in mind that it’s a little more powerful version with more RAM.
Amazon has a $400 discount off the standard price today, but it’s unclear how long the promotion will last. It’s probably going to come back at some point because this is the second time it’s been on sale this month. Check out BestComputerFinder’s top laptop selections for further choices.
