When searching for Chromebook bargains for Prime Day, I try to locate the greatest possible deal without making any concessions you’ll later regret. The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i, which retails for $192.88 on Amazon, is this year’s Chromebook. That’s a $100 save.
I did discover a great deal when looking through bestcomputerfinder top Chromebook offers for Prime Day: an HP 14-inch Chromebook at Best Buy for $129, which is a cool $200 off. For people who simply wish to pay as little as possible, that is acceptable. However, the 768p screen of that HP Chromebook is grainier than the 1080p screens you’re accustomed to. Additionally, it might start to struggle with multiple open browser tabs due to its 4GB of RAM.
Lenovo’s IdeaPad 3i, on the other hand, has 8GB of RAM in addition to a 1080p screen—and a sizable 15.6-inch one at that. It comes with an Intel Celeron N4500, which is essentially the standard for a low-end Chromebook; it’s not horrible, it’s not wonderful, but it’s common. Lenovo keyboards are also sturdy, and this one even features a number pad. It has more ports than I would have thought possible, including microSD, USB-A, USB-C, and an external HDMI 1.4 port.
I would be a little skeptical of Lenovo’s claim that this Chromebook has a 10-hour battery life. In my opinion, eight hours would be more appropriate, which is plenty for the majority of uses.
Although I genuinely doubt it will, I would love to see the price of this Chromebook drop any further. I believe that this is the greatest Chromebook offer available for Prime Day that you will be genuinely pleased with.
