It’s rare to find a good laptop at a low cost, but the Asus Vivobook is one such example. The Asus Vivobook 15, often costing $700, is currently available at B&H for just $550.
This isn’t a bare-bones gadget that can hardly run Windows. It has an above-average display, a lightweight design, and respectable specifications. For stunning images and color fidelity, we’re talking about an Intel Core i7-1355U processor, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD, and a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS display. Is there a graphics card specifically for it? No, however, it includes integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics for casual gaming. To be honest, a decent discrete graphics card at this price is not possible.
It weighs only 3.75 pounds, making it quite portable. The 42-watt-hour battery should last for several hours on a full charge, though we do wish it were larger. A 720p built-in webcam with privacy shutter, three USB-A and one USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headset connection, a backlit keyboard, and an HDMI 1.4 port are additional features.
This Asus Vivobook 15 is a good value for the money if you’ve been searching for a reasonably priced laptop with a respectable configuration at B&H.
